Ingredients
- 1 box penne
- 1/3 cup 2% milk
- 1/2 stick of cold butter (cut into tbsp)
- Lemon pepper to taste, at least 1 tsp.
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Parmesan cheese 5oz container
- 1/2 cup reserved pasta water (or more as needed)
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Put pasta on to boil
- Add milk to dutch over medium heat. Add lemon pepper to taste. Bring to simmer.
- Add butter 1 tbsp at a time while whisking to emulsify.
- Add sour cream and whisk.
- Once pasta is just shy of Al dente, add to sauce.
- Pour in parmesan cheese in 1/3s, stirring between. Add pasta water as needed
- Finish with lemon juice and stir.
- Serve with extra lemon pepper on top.
